If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, it may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. You may be thinking there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. That is the reason for GriefShare – a support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group is facilitated by people who have lost loved ones and understand what you are experiencing. They want to offer you encouragement and comfort during this difficult time in your life.
"Blessed be God , even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we oursleves are comforted of God."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief, and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours.
During the small group discussion time, you will have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences, and share your own.
If you have suffered the loss of someone close to you, please consider GriefShare. For more information, please call John or Linda Schoenwetter, (386) 843-1480.
