As the pastor of this church, I know I have been given an incredible responsibility to preach and teach God's Word, pray for our people, oversee all aspects of the church, serve as an example, and seek to spiritually protect the flock of people God has entrusted to me. I take my responsibility very seriously, and desire to serve God with the utmost integrity and honor. I truly love our church family. After 20 years of service here at CrossRoads, my love continually grows stronger. I pray that through the Christ I preach and teach, people will grow in their faith, and their walk with Christ will grow stronger. I pray that Christians will find themselves growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ. I pray that those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior will clearly hear the gospel preached at CrossRoads, and will trust Him as their Savior, entering into an eternal relationship with Christ. I was reared in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and am a graduate in Pastoral Theology from Trinity Baptist College, Jacksonville, FL. My wife, Deniece, and I are the parents of three boys - Clint, Clayton, and Caleb. My family is precious to me, and an important priority in my life. God has shown me that it is vital that I spend both quality time and a good quantity of time with my family. In March of 1994, I was voted in as pastor of CrossRoads Baptist Church (formerly Daytona Beach Baptist Church). I had served here as assistant pastor since 1989. I am humbly grateful that God continues to allow me to pastor this wonderful church family. People are growing and changing as Christ lives His victorious life through us. We desire to be a lighthouse in this community, and to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and needy world. We truly desire to be a church for others! Most of the time, I am available after each of our services to meet guests. I look forward to meeting you real soon!
